Everton unlikely to face stiff competition to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja
Everton are reportedly unlikely to face any stiff competition in order to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea this summer.
According to Eurosport journalist Dean Jones, West Ham were keen on the Albania international’s services, but their interest appears to have cooled.
Frank Lampard could also use his contacts at Chelsea to smoothen the deal and get to the 20-year-old before any interested clubs decide to touch base.

Jones told Give Me Sport, “I’m not sure West Ham have got the interest that they had at one point, so I don’t think there’s the competition level there for Broja anymore.
“Lampard obviously can use his contacts to get into Broja early, speak to him himself, and just try and convince him that Everton is a club that’s going to be in transition but in a good way. That’s going to be the big message that they send out.”
Snap him up
There are few under-21 players better than Broja who have proven themselves in the Premier League.
Often, strikers do well in foreign leagues and find it hard to adapt to life in England’s top flight.
However, in Broja, the Toffees have a quality striker who might still be raw, but has bags of ability and the potential of being one of the best goal scorers in the league.
Chelsea are likely to want to keep him after he had an impressive season out on loan at Southampton, but will not be able to offer him game time.
With Richarlison very likely to leave the club in the summer, the Toffees will have space for another attacker in the final third and Broja could be the player they turn to.
It will also be interesting to see how things transpire, given the fact that Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a central striker as well and would expect to play ahead of the Albanian.
In other Everton news, a football finance expert has made a claim on the new Toffees stadium amid a major £300m development in the recent weeks.
