Everton battle Aston Villa to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon
Everton are reportedly interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon in the summer transfer window.
According to Tuttosport, the Toffees are likely to face competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Aston Villa for his signature.
The 22-year-old could be available at a bargain price as his contract is set to expire in 2023.
Good move?
Solomon is a versatile winger and his profile fits the bill perfectly for Everton.
He is primarily a left-winger, but he is capable of playing on the right, as also from the centre.

The Israel international started the 2021-22 campaign brightly, managing four goals in just eight starts last season.
However, his season was abruptly halted due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Everton do need to bolster their attacking department in the summer, irrespective of whether Richarlison stays or goes.
Anthony Gordon and Alex Iwobi did well last season, but the Toffees are lacking depth and quality in their attacking ranks.
Frank Lampard is comfortable working with young talents and Solomon could be a smart signing for the club.
At the same time, he is hitherto unknown and has got relative less experience.
Having said that, the Toffees need to move quickly if they are serious about landing him, with two other Premier League clubs vying for his signature.
