Everton value Richarlison at £70m as Chelsea circle for blockbuster new signing

Everton value Richarlison at £70million this summer if he were to leave Goodison Park, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper has reported in their print edition [21 June, pg. 66], that Chelsea have revived their interest in the Brazilian hotshot in this window.

It comes as the Blues get set to lose Romelu Lukaku who has decided he would like a loan move back to his former club Inter Milan after an unsuccessful move last summer.

Simon Jones has reported the latest in his daily Window Watch feature.

“Chelsea have revived interest in Everton’s £70m-rated forward Richarlison as Romelu Lukaku heads for Inter Milan.”

Everton

Minimum.

This is the bare minimum that Everton should be demanding.

Prices have turned ridiculous in football nowadays, so why should the Toffees not do the same when someone comes calling for one of their best players?

Richarlison was incredible towards the end of last season, and at times made sure by himself that points were secured in a tight and nerve-racking relegation battle.

With Financial Fair Play rules tight at Goodison Park, if Everton are to sell players, they need to maximise profits to loosen those ties and push towards the green.

Farhad Moshiri paid £40million for the South American from Watford, so £70million will likely be the starting price with other clubs such as Spurs also said to be interested.

Just because of one bad season, prices don’t just crash and allow others to come in and take advantage of that.

Everton cannot be bullied in this scenario and must stick to this valuation as a minimum price, then we could all possibly accept the potential of Richarlison moving on.
