Tottenham will include Lucas Moura and Harry Winks in offer for Everton star Richarlison

Tottenham are willing to include Lucas Moura in a players-plus-cash deal for Everton star Richarlison, according to a report in The Telegraph.

English midfielder Harry Winks is also on offer in order to make a deal happen for the Toffees forward, who the club want in excess of £50million for.

UOL Esporte journalist Bruno Andrade reported on Twitter on Saturday [11 June] that the two clubs were in “advanced negotiations” over 25-year-old Richarlison, who wants a move away from Goodison.

Amid a disastrous 2021/22 campaign, that saw the club come within two games of relegation to the Championship, the Brazilian international proved to be crucial in securing top flight safety.

He scored 10 league goals and assisted five more, as big-name strike partner Dominic Calvert-Lewin struggled for form and fitness.

But despite his commitment to the fight against the drop, he changed agents in April in order to look for a move come the summer, according to Guardian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Various Premier League rivals have been credited with interest but Spurs are currently making the biggest play for him.

In an ideal world the relationship that has been built up between player and fans would continue for seasons to come as he spearheaded the attack of a resurgent Frank Lampard team.

But he is too good of a player to risk being in the same sort of situation he was during the recently-completed campaign and wants to move on.

He has essentially earned the right to do so, but it will be somewhat galling for fans to see him lined up against them if he stays in the same division.

If they have to let him go the club of course need to get good value for him, and Winks is reportedly a target for Lampard [Telegraph], who Goodison News pundit Kevin Campbell believes could be a good move.

Moura, while not exactly the same sort of player, could help to replace his fellow Brazilian’s attacking output at Goodison if he was willing to be part of the deal.

However, the club are sure to want a hefty amount of money to be included either way, since money is tight and it would ease the overall transfer window machinations.

Lucas famously became only the 10th man in history to receive a perfect 10/10 rating from French publication L’Equipe when he scored a hat-trick away at Ajax to send Spurs into the 2019 Champions League final [Standard].

In other Everton news, takeover talks have begun with a consortium led by a former chief executive of Chelsea and Manchester United interested in buying the club.
