Everton could seal summer move Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour
Everton are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea attacking midfielder Billy Gilmour as Frank Lampard is looking to add to the names in that department.
According to Eurosport journalist Dean Jones, the Toffees boss is an admirer of the Blues youngster and could make a move to bring him to Goodison Park.
It’s understood that they are currently looking at Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Winks, but the Scotland international would add to their options in the final third rather than just in the middle of the park.

Jones told Give Me Sport, “Harry Winks is someone who can play that role. He obviously likes Billy Gilmour as well.
“Whether he’s ready to take on that kind of responsibility at a big club like Everton week to week is still to be decided, but I think Lampard is definitely looking for that profile of player.”
The Toffees roped in Donny van de Beek in January and expected him to work between the lines and wreak havoc in the final third.
However, Lampard seldom used him there and his links to Gilmour suggest that he may have realised his mistake.
Should he convince the 21-year-old to leave Stamford Bridge, he will make sure to get the best out of him by playing him closer to the opposition goal.
This could see the Toffees not just receiving attacking threat from their wingers and full-backs, but also via an extremely creative and mobile player in the hole.
It remains to be seen if Chelsea agree for a move, either permanently or on loan.
