Everton attacker Richarlison agrees personal terms with Tottenham Hotspur
Everton ace Richarlison has reportedly agreed personal terms with fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Caught Offside, Spurs prioritised the Brazilian over Leeds United’s Raphinha and have made a significant step towards completing that deal.
They have been in talks with the Toffees to sign the 25-year-old, but have finally managed to reach an agreement with the player.
Via Twitter, Caught Offside wrote, “We have been told that Richarlison has agreed personal terms with #THFC.”
Richarlison’s intentions to leave Goodison Park have been clear for the last couple of months and it seems like he’s getting his move.
Spurs qualified for the Champions League under Antonio Conte last season and are looking to add to the firepower in the final third.
Despite having world class players like Harry Kane and Son, they have earmarked the Toffees star as one of their priority options this summer.
While the two clubs have to agree on a fee, Spurs will be delighted that they’ve at least agreed personal terms with the player.
It’s now down to the negotiators to see who’s ready to blink first and which side will get the better end of the deal.
Regardless of how much Richarlison sells for, he’s not going to be on the cheap side and Everton will try to push him as close to the club record fee.
They must also now finalise their deal for Harry Winks, who we do not think will be part of the Richarlison deal, although things can change very quickly.
