Everton handed significant transfer boost amid FFP crisis
Everton are reportedly not waiting for the Premier League to give them the all-clear before they start spending this summer.
According to the Liverpool Echo, while the Toffees are in compliance with them there are no active checks on where they’re spending their money.
The Toffees are aware of the Financial Fair Play (FFP) issues they’re facing and remain in constant dialogue with the leaguer authorities.

It’s also believed that claims suggesting Everton need to sell players in order to maintain their wage bill are “incorrect”.
Mega boost
Everton’s transfer activity has been stuck in first gear this summer and the side is now significantly weaker than it was last season.
Richarlison has been sold and the likes of Yerry Mina appear to have their foot out of the door already.
James Tarkowski arrived, but that’s been only on a free transfer and there’s been no real strengthening in any department.
Thankfully, the FFP rules are not hamstringing them from making further acquisitions which is a good thing and they can now back Frank Lampard unconditionally.
Signing a replacement for Richarlison is key but they’ve also got to rope in midfielders and a couple of wide attackers before the season begins.
Thus far, they do not appear to be close to signing anyone and Kevin Thelwell needs to quickly get his act together.
He has brought about and is working on some behind-the-scenes changes that are exceptional but his job is only getting started at Goodison Park.
