Everton alerted over potential availability of PSG striker Arnaud Kalimuendo
Everton have been alerted over the potential availability of Leeds United target and PSG striker Arnaud Kalimuendo.
According to 90Min, Leeds were close to reaching an agreement worth £20million with the Ligue 1 club but now things have got tricky with a host of Premier League clubs including Newcastle and Crystal Palace joining the race.
While he is potentially up for sale, manager Christophe Galtier has been impressed with the 20-year-old and may take some time before deciding whether or not to sell him.
Interesting prospect
After Richarlison left, the Toffees have been in the hunt for another attacking player as Frank Lampard appears to be preparing for a two-man attack for next season.
There was some hope when one of Lampard’s desired targets Armando Broja handed in a transfer request at Chelsea and flew back from their pre-season tour.

However, it seems like he’s on his way to West Ham and not Goodison Park and the Toffees need to look for alternatives.
Kaliumendo will be an ideal signing for Everton this summer and at 20, he will be not just one for the short term, but for the foreseeable future.
He could work in tandem with Anthony Gordon and Dominic Calvert-Lewin and give this attack a whole new dimension.
Whether or not the club can manage to convince him to join without the lure of European football, remains to be seen.
