Super Computer predicts if Everton will face relegation from Premier League after Aston Villa loss
Everton have been predicted to narrowly avoid relegation from the Premier League despite losing to Chelsea and Aston Villa.
The Toffees began the season with a defeat to Frank Lampard’s former side and they then took on his former England midfield partner in Steven Gerrard and lost to them as well.
This has seen them languishing 16th place after most of the second-round fixtures have already been played.
FiveThirtyEight crunched the numbers on their Super Computer and predict a 40-point finish from them.
That’s only one more than Southampton who are predicted to finish 18th and get relegated.

Having the lack of a target man cost the Toffees any chance of winning against Villa.
Lampard thought that it would be wise to sit back and defend and play on the counter attack but there was no recognised player to hoick the out ball too.
They had to play between the lines and time and again it got intercepted and led to the Villa players trying to score another.
This cannot be the game plan that the manager has worked with in pre-season because it certainly is not good enough.
If that prediction is to be accurate, it means that Everton will headed for another relegation battle.
Hopefully, they can quickly secure the services Serhou Guirassy who has been left out of Monaco’s matchday squad as he looks to force a move to Goodison Park.
They cannot afford to go into another game without a recognised striker and it’s time they get someone over the line.
