Dele Alli has issues to resolve at Everton before joining Besiktas
Dele Alli reportedly has a few issues left to resolve at Everton before he can leave and join Besiktas in the coming days.
According to Vole journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, all terms have been agreed over the transfer of the England international.
The move is expected to go through despite the fact that certain things are yet to be finalised.
Via Twitter, Sabuncuoglu wrote, “Beşiktaş and Everton agreed on all terms for the transfer of Dele Alli, but Dele Alli has issues to resolve with his club. Both this situation and the response of the player to Beşiktaş’s offer are expected.”
All set to go?
We’re unsure what exactly these issues are at Everton but whatever they are, they need to be finalised sooner rather than later.
Alli’s wages need to be off the club’s payroll as soon as possible and hopefully, the club then makes progress on incomings.
The entire saga involving Alli seemed like a baffling one and was no short of a panic buy in the dying stages of the window.
Despite not paying anything to Spurs, they will now have to shell out a certain percentage of the fee they earn when Besiktas buy him permanently.
Hopefully, once Alli’s sale is official, they sign a striker in the next two or three days.
The performance against Nottingham Forest was worrying and had it not been for Jordan Pickford’s inch perfect pass, they would’ve lost another game.
Everton are understood to be contemplating a bid for Blackburn striker Ben Brereton Diaz and he would undoubtedly be a welcome addition.
