Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin spotted training ahead of Arsenal clash
Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been spotted in training ahead of the Premier League clash against Arsenal on Saturday.
The England international has suffered several injury concerns over the last 12 months and he will be hoping they’re behind them as he was spotted enjoying himself on the grass.
The pictures do not show whether or not he was training with his teammates, but his returning is a major boost for the Toffees who have struggled for goals this season.
Welcome back
Calvert-Lewin started last season so strongly – scoring three goals in first three games under Rafa Benitez – and it seemed like it was going to be a good season under the Spaniard.
However, he suffered an injury that ruled him out for several weeks and he has not been the same player since then.

Towards the back end of last season, it was Richarlison’s goals and game-changing moments that saw the Toffees avoid relegation and not the Englishman’s.
He even lost his spot in the England squad and with few months left before the World Cup, he would want to do whatever he can to be on the plane.
This would be an added incentive for him to deliver and he knows that once he’s back to full fitness, Frank Lampard will draft him into the squad again.
Despite the signing of Neal Maupay, it’s clear that Calvert-Lewin is the better option to lead the line and we cannot wait for his match-winning goals to return to Goodison Park.
