Everton to ready January bid to sign Shakthar ace Mykhaylo Mudryk

Everton are looking to ready a bid to sign Shakthar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk along with Arsenal, according to Calcio Mercato.

The Toffees had a tentative interest in the 21-year-old over the summer but opted not to make a move for the Ukrainian but their minds have been changed this week.

Mudryk was the standout star as Shakhtar, in the midst of their nation being at war with Russia, produced a stunning display away at RB Leipzig to win 4-1 in the Champions League.

He scored the third of the four goals after a Marian Shved brace and Everton are now looking to put together a financial package to bring him to Goodison Park while the Gunners attempt to take him to The Emirates.

Italian giants Juventus are also keeping Mudryk on their radar although it is thought that the Premier League duo are well ahead in this particular race.

Agent Mykolenko

With one Ukrainian already at Goodison Park and impressing everybody, it is time for Vitaliy Mykolenko to work his charming magic on bringing another to Merseyside.

Mudryk tends to play off the left flank anyway so the two could build up a very exciting and encrypted partnership on that side with both being able to speak their native language to get secret messages across that most won’t be able to understand.

Everton

Not only that, but Mudryk’s pace and directness is what has been badly lacking from the Everton attack so far this season with Anthony Gordon almost carrying the hopes of the club on his back in that regard.

He would be on the opposite flank to Mudryk with Neal Maupay, and eventually Dominic Calvert-Lewin when he’s fit, in between the create an under-appreciated front three.

If the fee can be a reasonable one for Everton, then Kevin Thelwell should have no hesitation in making a deal happen to ensure he doesn’t go to this weekend’s opponents instead.
