Everton send scouts to watch Mykhaylo Mudryk in Scotland v Ukraine
Everton were among a host of clubs who sent scouts to watch Ukraine international Mykhaylo Mudryk on Wednesday, according to 90min.
The Shakthar Donetsk winger has been dazzling opponents this season with some mesmerising performances in the Champions League for the Ukrainian champions.
Everton even made a late summer bid to sign the 21-year-old but were turned away but they have not given up on their efforts to sign him and will keep a close eye on his progress.
As well as the Toffees, Leeds, Brentford, Brighton, West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves were all at Hampden Park on Wednesday evening as Mudryk played 83 minutes in a 3-0 defeat to Scotland.
Nathan Patterson also featured for the Scots on the night but was forced off with injury after just 25 minutes and even had to be carried by the stretcher down the tunnel

This is going to be one of the most frantic and chaotic transfer debacles in many years when the January window opens and Shakthar must be expecting a bombardment of offers upon the first of the month.
Everton might be among those at the front of the queue having expressed their interest in the summer but with so many clubs looking and a lot of time before the transfer window re-opens, a lot can change.
It is no secret, though, that Frank Lampard wants to add a new winger to complete his dream front line even though Demarai Gray has been better than expected so far this season.
But he started last season well and tailed off so the boss needs someone more consistent and akin to Anthony Gordon on the opposite flank.
Mudryk might be exactly that if his starring roles in Europe’s top club competition are anything to go by but Farhad Moshiri might have to dig deep into his pockets to make it happen.
