Stake.com send message to Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo after Everton Premier League clash

Everton front-of-shirt sponsors Stake.com have sent a message to Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo after his recent Instagram post.

The Portugal star scored the winner at Goodison Park and then posted the picture on Instagram that displayed Stake’s logo.

This clearly did wonders for their viewership as Ronaldo has 487million followers on the platform.

Stake took to Twitter to make a joke about it as they wrote, “Anyone know if has a Stake account?

“Kevin from Finance wants to send him a $10 bonus for this IG post.

“Would’ve been more if he didn’t kick the sealer against our boys at home.”

Stake are Everton’s main sponsors and they’re more worried about what Ronaldo posted than the actual result.

Had the Toffees won or drawn the game, it would’ve been fine as most fans would then be happy with the result and would not have been angry at this post.

Looking at some of the replies, fans have not taken to it too well and this is not what they should’ve posted.

Everton have already been at odds with Stake a few weeks ago and we’re not sure how well this decision will go with the club hierarchy.

Hopefully, it should not cause too much fury behind the scenes but they have to know what they can and cannot post, especially less than 24 hours after a home defeat.

Frank Lampard will certainly be proud of the effort his side showed on the day and we’re hoping that they can get a few more wins soon or pressure will start to pile up again.
