Bournemouth have four players out of Premier League clash v Everton
Bournemouth are set to be without four players for their Premier League clash with Everton, according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.
The game against the Toffees is set to come too soon for Lloyd Kelly who is sidelined with an ankle problem. Goalkeeper Neto is also out of the fixture with a thigh injury.
David Brooks isn’t set to feature until after Christmas and Chris Mepham is out of the fixture after picking up five yellow cards.
However, the Cherries will have Jordan Zemura available after he suffered a knock in Bournemouth’s League Cup win over the Toffees.
Must improve
It’s going to be hard for Frank Lampard’s men to be as bad as they were at the Vitality in their last fixture. The Everton boss rang the changes and it backfired badly. A week is a long time in football and after two defeats in a row, the pressure is starting to rise on Lampard.
Another defeat heading into the international break could see Everton plunge into the relegation zone if results don’t go their way. This is a huge game for Lampard to keep the fans on his side. The Toffees caused Bournemouth a few problems in the second half of the fixture, and if the Everton boss starts his first eleven, they have more than enough to hurt Gary O’Neil’s men.
Mason Holgate is set to be the only absentee for Everton after he suffered an injury on the South Coast on Tuesday. Anything less than a win will see a fairly negative feeling surround Goodison Park heading into a long period without any fixtures. Let’s hope Lampard finds one last tune out of this group of players.
