Manchester City ace Kyle Walker likens Everton ace Conor Coady to Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has compared Everton ace Conor Coady to Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane in terms of training.

Ahead of the World Cup, the team picked by Gareth Southgate has been doing a lot of media stuff and the three players picked to do the podcast for Lad Bible were Coady, Chelsea attacker Raheem Sterling and Walker.

There, both Sterling and Walker, a four-time Premier League winner, waxed lyrical over how hard working the Toffees man is on the training pitch and likened him to Kane – the record holder for most goals at a single Premier League club.

Walker said on 0:43, “I would say there are a lot of good trainers here.”

Sterling then turned to Coady and said, “I’d say you’re a top trainer.”

The City defender joined in the praises for the Everton man as he said, “You’re a bit like Harry. He’s properly by the book. Everything’s done properly. No corners cut.”

Coady has been such an impactful signing for Everton and one can already see what he’s brought on the field of play.

Apart from that, he does seem to be a pretty jolly person on the training ground and we believe he’s already showing his leadership skills.

That’s why he was handed the captain’s armband midway through a game and Frank Lampard already sees him as a permanent player despite him being on loan.

He’s also probably impressing Lampard just like he’s doing with his teammates at England.

We cannot wait to see how he fares at the World Cup and whether or not the Toffees defender is handed minutes by Gareth Southgate.

There’s a good chance that Coady is a backup and even if he gets a few minutes off the bench, he would consider himself lucky and the fans too would be happy as the chances of him picking up an injury will drastically reduce.
