Everton-linked Arnaut Danjuma’s agent makes transfer admission

Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma’s future appears to be up in the air amid links to the Premier League, especially Everton, in recent weeks.

Now, his agent Michale Moses has told Cadena Ser that nothing has been decided but has gone on record to say, “Negotiations are underway.”

This is a clear admission from the player’s camp that a deal is there to be done and the Toffees need to act quickly before another club snaps up his services.

Cadena Ser [10 January] reported that Everton were desperate to get his signature over the line and such clear admissions from his agent will come as good news for them.

However, they will surely be aware of other Premier League clubs lurking around the Netherlands international who certainly appears to be on the move this month.

The Toffees are in dire need of a versatile attacker who can not just score goals but also be an assured presence on the ball and get others into the game.

Things have been tough for Everton recently and they certainly are craving a game changer in the final third.

Many thought that Anthony Gordon would grow from strength to strength this season, but the opposite’s happened and he’s not even as good as he was last season.

Danjuma is available and his agent is actually putting the word out so this is the right chance for the Toffees to strike and go and sign him as soon as possible.

This season he’s bagged six goals in 17 games and while that’s not really an eye-catching return, he’s always involved in the game and defenders hate to play against him.

He would be an exceptional addition should the Toffees manage to get it over the line.
