Everton and Southampton target Kamaldeen Sulemana may travel to the United Kingdom in the next few hours on transfer deadline day.
According to Sahara Football Net journalist Clinton Eleto, who is also from Ghana, it is looking possible that the Rennes winger moves to St Mary’s.
However, the Toffees are still understood to be in the race to secure his services before the 11pm deadline.
Via Twitter, Eleto wrote, “Kamaldeen Sulemana to Southampton looking very possible. Player might travel to the UK in few hours. Everton still in the race and won’t give up.”
Battle heats up
Both the Premier League sides have seen offers accepted for the Ghana international on transfer deadline day so it’s clear that Rennes want the money.

They’ve seemingly left it to the player who’ll now have to decide which relegation candidate he would fancy moving to on deadline day.
Everton are a historic club and will be moving into a new stadium soon so it makes a lot of sense to move to Merseyside.
It is a footballing city as well and under a new manager, Sulemana could be sold the idea of Sean Dyche building his team around him.
It remains to be seen if the Southampton project is more appealing to him, but there’s a very good chance that he ends up at one of the two clubs.
Everton do need a good wide player and hopefully, Sulemana can hit the ground running if he does end up signing for the Toffees.
