Everton table £22m bid including bonuses to sign Udinese striker Beto on transfer deadline day
Everton have reportedly submitted an offer of £22million to secure the services of Udinese striker Beto on transfer deadline day.
According to Tutto Mercato Web editor Marco Conterio, this offer includes bonuses which are understood to be worth £2.6million.
The Toffees want to get this deal for the 25-year-old Portuguese striker done immediately after failing to sign a striker all January.
Via Twitter, Conterio wrote, “Everton offer of 25 million bonuses included for #Udinese’s Beto Betuncal to immediately sign the striker.
“EFC made a 25M € proposal for Beto Betuncal (it’s 22+3) to get the striker now. Let’s see what will happen then.”

Right now, it seems like Everton are just throwing money at whichever player they think is available and willing to move.
Beto only moved to Udinese over the summer permanently after spending a season on loan there.
His goal-scoring record is decent as he’s bagged seven league strikes and that could be perhaps why the Toffees are keen on signing him.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s performances have been sub-par this season and Neal Maupay has failed to kick on since moving to Goodison Park.
In a relegation battle, the Toffees need a proven goal scorer and hopefully, in Beto, they find someone who’s stylistically a good fit for them.
Surely Sean Dyche will have a few names in his mind as well and it remains to be seen who they sign after Kamaldeen Sulemana snubbed Everton earlier on 31 January.
