Robbie Savage makes Everton relegation prediction after Sean Dyche appointment

Robbie Savage expects Sean Dyche to steady the ship at Everton and ensure that they avoid getting relegated from the Premier League.

The former Burnley boss replaced Fank Lampard after his year in charge of the club and took over a side in the relegation zone.

He began life as Everton manager when his side took on Arsenal at Goodison Park.

Speaking to William Hill’s Emma Jones, Savage said, “Sean Dyche going into Everton now, I think with his experience and how fantastic a manager he is, he will keep Everton up.”

Miracle man

Burnley were the smallest spenders in the Premier League back when Dyche was at the helm there.

However, he continually managed to help them avoid the drop and even got them to qualify for Europe which is impressive, to say the least.

He did miss the trick in the final season but that was just proof that cycles come to an end and it was best for both parties to go their own ways.

At Everton, he’s not going to have an abundance of funds, but it’s certainly going to be better than what it was at Turf Moor.

He will organise the defence and will have a better plan in the final third than Lampard did as his sides often looked clueless in the opposition half.

The board did not back him with any signings in January, but there’s a very good chance that a free agent comes to Everton in the coming days and there are links to Isco.
