Konyasport make formal offer to sign Everton target Isco

Konyaspor have reportedly made a formal offer to secure the services of Everton target and former Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

According to Sport, on Friday morning, 3 February, the Turkish side have decided to amplify their interest in the four-time Champions League winner.

Everton have also sounded him out over a move as he’s looking for a new club after Sevilla released him and his move to Union Berlin fell through.

Last throw of the dice?

The Toffees need fresh faces and inspiration from somewhere as this squad is nowhere good enough to suddenly go on an unreal winning run.

Isco may not be in his prime but he could offer something that this squad currently lacks which is that X-Factor in the final third.

He’s got an impressive footballing brain and while he wasn’t the main player in the all-conquering Real Madrid side, his influence cannot be undersold.

He will bring much-needed winning mentality to the club as well as Everton do not have any serial winners on their side.

However, they’re going to have to act quickly as Isco seems to be a man in demand and could be Turkey bound in case they do not make a formal approach.

Recent reports have hinted at them not looking to sign Isco, so there’s a good chance they may have better free-agent alternatives lined up.
