Everton handed boost as Aleksandar Mitrovic suspended for clash v Fulham after ‘Disgraceful’ red card v Manchester United
Everton have been handed a major boost in their bid for survival as Aleksandar Mitrovic will be suspended for their Premier League clash.
The Toffees are due to host Fulham on April 15th at Goodison Park, three games after the international break, but the Cottagers will be without their top scorer for the game after a crazy moment that happened during their FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Manchester United on Sunday (19 March).
After the referee awarded Manchester United a penalty for a Willian handball and sent off both the Brazilian and manager Marco Silva, Mitrovic lost his temper and pushed the referee before squaring up to him in a moment described as “Madness” by Roy Keane live on ITV (19 March).
The Serbian will get an automatic three-game ban for the red card as it was for violent conduct, meaning he will miss the game at Goodison Park regardless of whether or not his ban is extended due to the manner of the incident.
Massive
After going on a massive three-game unbeaten streak recently with a win over Brentford sandwiched between draws on the road against Nottingham Forest and Chelsea, momentum and morale is high at Goodison.
A two-week break is now upon us for Sean Dyche to work his magic and help move us further away from the drop zone.

We’ll return for tough games against Tottenham at Goodison before an away trip to Old Trafford, so any points from those games would likely be considered a bonus.
Fulham should be considered a winnable game, but they have been in very good form recently and are flying in the Premier League, so the fact they’ll be without their main man up front is a major boost for the side.
We need as much luck as we can possibly get between now and the end of the season, and now we can all celebrate that he’ll be missing and their goal threat will be significantly reduced.
