Amadou Onana and Jordan Pickford to spearhead fire sale if Everton get relegated
Amadou Onana and Jordan Pickford will reportedly spearhead the fire sale if Everton end up getting relegated from the Premier League.
According to the Guardian [27 May], their sales will follow what could be a catastrophic financial downturn given the issues with FFP.
The Toffees control their own fate in the relegation battle as they need to beat Bournemouth to secure their status in the Premier League.
Catastrophe is nigh?
Relegation may be disastrous for the Toffees and they know that they cannot afford to let this advantage go.
Beating Brighton 5-1 was perhaps the result that may keep them up as it was an unlikely show of valour at the Amex Stadium.

They now have the easiest game on the final day of the season and have a manager who’s been in these situations nearly every season.
Sam Allardyce is also somewhat of a relegation specialist but he’s not had enough time at Leeds United and they’ve not even won a single game under him.
Losing Onana would be brutal as he’s easily one of their biggest assets at the club and what they can get for him will probably be halved in the Championship.
He’s understood to be infatuated by the project at Newcastle and could perhaps end up moving to St James’ Park if Everton fail to stay up.
