Monday development all but seals Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Mason Holgate Everton futures
Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Mason Holgate’s Everton futures appear to be sealed after a fresh development on Monday, July 10.
Via their official website, the Toffees announced a 28-man squad that’s travelling to Switzerland for a pre-season friendly.
While names like Dele Alli and Andre Gomes were included, the likes of Gbamin and Holgate were not – fuelling speculation that they could be on their way out.

Gbamin has been one of the biggest flops in Everton history and he was not even spotted in pre-season training.
This comes after he’s had a wretched injury record at Goodison Park but managed to stay fit when out on loan last season.
His agent went on the record on 18 May and stated that the 27-year-old will not be playing for the Toffees again and thus, the omission from the travelling squad comes as no surprise.
He perhaps will already be talking to other clubs and Everton desperately need the money from player sales to start buying new players this summer.

Liverpool Echo [26 June] claimed that the Toffees informed Holgate that they will no longer be needing his services beyond this summer.
This comes along with a report from talkSPORT that claims Premier League newcomers Sheffield United are interested in signing the defender.
Sean Dyche omitting the two players from his travelling squad is clearly a signal that they’re never going to play for the club again and may well pack their bags and get ready to leave.
In other Everton news, an exit-linked Toffees player has recently been spotted in talks with a senior Goodison Park figure ahead of the new season.
