Everton close to two new transfers with multiple exits on the cards – Alan Myers

Alan Myers has shared the latest Everton transfer news as there are likely to be multiple ins and outs at Goodison Park this summer.

The Sky Sports journalist claims [19 July] that two new signings are close to joining and as many are close to leaving the club.

He then said another one is close to joining and the one more will be shown the door at the club.

He wrote on Twitter, “Last I heard 2 in 2 out were close, and another 1 in 1 out shortly after that, but that’s all I know, I guess it’s the definition of close, some may see that as an hour, some may see that as a week.”

Need to hurry up

Pre season has already begun and the only signing the Toffees have made is bringing in Ashley Young on a free transfer.

Sean Dyche will be needing a new striker, wide player and even a centre-back before he can relax ever so slightly ahead of the new season.

As things stand, Everton look like legitimate candidates for relegation and they desperately need new signings through the door.

Hopefully, the deals Myers is talking about are in those three positions and they’re on board to move to Goodison Park.

The Toffees have bad memories of Arnaut Danjuma as everything looked done only for him to ditch them and move to Tottenham Hotspur.

It remains to be seen when Everton make these signings but there seems to be intense work going on behind the scenes.

In other Everton news, an exit-linked Toffees player has recently been spotted in talks with a senior Goodison Park figure ahead of the new season.
