Alan Myers issues Arnaut Danjuma medical update as Everton look to make new signing
Alan Myers has shared an update on Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma’s medical at Everton with an announcement on the cards.
According to the Sky Sports journalist, the Dutchman, 26, has completed his medical and the deal will be sealed in the next 24 hours.
With Myers issuing an update late on Saturday, 22 July, evening, it should be wrapped up before the weekend.
Via Twitter, he wrote, “Arnaut Danjuma has undergone his medical and expected to complete his move in next 24 hours.”
Good news
Danjuma has completed his second Everton medical this year and that’s quite an amusing thing to say given how things transpired.
Nobody would’ve thought that he would be signing for the Toffees after ditching them in the January transfer window.
However, Sean Dyche and the Toffees hierarchy retained faith in him and here he is, signing for Everton, with no talks of anyone hijacking the deal.

In hindsight, he perhaps would’ve regretted not moving to Spurs and would’ve been an ideal Anthony Gordon replacement at the club.
Unlike the now Newcastle player, Danjuma’s got an end product as well and this will actually benefit the Toffees a great deal.
There’s no option or obligation to buy in this deal but it remains to be seen if 12 months down the line, Everton would look to sign him permanently should he have a good season.
In other Everton news, an exit-linked Toffees player has recently been spotted in talks with a senior Goodison Park figure ahead of the new season.
