Sean Dyche can revive Patson Daka career at Everton as transfer news emerge
Everton have made contact with Leicester City regarding a deal to bring Patson Daka and Sean Dyche can hand the striker a career lifeline at Goodison Park.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper (8 August, page 63), Everton have asked the Foxes about the possibility of taking Daka on loan, although the Foxes would prefer to do a permanent deal for the pacy hitman.
Taking to his Patreon on Monday (7 August), the newspaper journalist Alan Nixon claimed that Dyche is desperate to add pace to his side for the coming season and the Toffees have identified Daka as a strong striker target.

It is believed that the Toffees want to bring in another two strikers with the expected to sell Neal Maupay, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin continues his recovery from continuous injury setbacks.
Everton have set a medical for Sporting youngster Youssef Chermiti with the Blues desperate to get that deal done in time for Saturday’s encounter with Fulham, but a Premier League-level striker to add to that exciting capture would be ideal and Daka on a cut-price deal represents an incredible opportunity for all parties.
Having signed for the Foxes back in 2021, his £23m move had many excited at the prospect of the rapid striker in the Premier League but the Zambian failed to set the world alight in the East Midlands as Leicester City suffered an unlikely relegation to the Championship.

Daka only registered just four goals and four assists from 30 Premier League games and will be desperate for another chance in the English top flight which Everton are willing to give him.
Despite struggling since making that switch, the 24-year-old frontman, previously lauded as an “electric and ruthless finisher” still boasts all the physical assets to thrive in England, with pace, power and clinical finishing in abundance.
While the latter had been somewhat missing at the King Power, Daka can certainly point to a lack of consistent opportunities with the striker featuring off the bench on several occasions.
In his final year in Austria, the Zambia star scored 34 times across all competitions, assisting a further 12. His speed left defenders in his wake, yet he had that touch of class to take his time, often always selecting the right decision with regard to finishing or creating.
Those qualities simply can’t be lost in the space of a year and Daka could certainly find himself again with Dyche as his manager, with the former Burnley boss desperate for pace and power in his front-line.
Boasting the talents of Chermiti, Arnaut Danjuma, Daka, Dwight McNeil and Alex Iwobi represents a stark upgrade on what they possessed last season and a clear indication that Everton mean business this summer.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin arguably remains the perfect build for a typical Dyche no.9 – boasting height, physicality and fierce pace in behind, but it’s clear, his injury record continues to be a worry.
Daka would mark a fine alternative, who could combine to great effect to ensure this campaign is one where safety is achieved far sooner than the final day of the season.
More crucially, the Zambian can be handed a much-needed career lifeline to ensure his development is on the right track again. There may be no better platform to achieve that than at Goodison Park.
In other Everton news, a Championship club have sanctioned a loan exit for one “incredible” attacker, and Everton have opened talks to sign him.
