Sky Sports pundit blown away by Everton defender Nathan Patterson in Wolves Premier League clash
Courtney Sweetman-Kirk waxed lyrical over Everton defender Nathan Patterson in the first half of the Premier League clash v Wolves.
On Saturday (26 August), the Toffees hosted the fellow relegation candidates and played well in the opening 45 minutes.
Right-back Patterson put in a teasing cross with his left foot that nearly found the heads of two of his teammates who would’ve broken the deadlock had they made contact.

Speaking on the Premier League world feed, Sweetman-Kirk, a Sky Sports pundit said at 15:09, “Wonderful ball in that from Patterson, Danjuma is at full stretch trying to get something on the ball. Nearly found Onana at the back post.”
Good display
Throughout the half, Patterson showed why he’s the ideal choice to be the club’s right-back for this season.
Not only was he attacking well, but he put in a tremendous shift on the defensive side of things as well.
He tracked Hwang right until the byline and after the ball went out of play, committed a foul by mistake on him.

There was no malice behind that challenge but just showed how dedicated he was to the cause of keeping the Wolves attackers at bay.
Hopefully, he continues his rich vein of form and takes it into the second half as well as they desperately need the three points.
Wolves are there for the taking here and the Toffees must capitalise or they will eventually regret it.
In other Everton news, a first-team player linked with a Premier League rival club may now force his Goodison Park exit unless Sean Dyche axes a senior man.
