Farhad Moshiri signs Everton sale agreement – Alan Myers
Farhad Moshiri has signed an agreement with 777 Partners over a takeover at Everton, according to Alan Myers.
The Sky Sports journalist tweeted on Friday (15 September) that the Toffees owner has agreed the acquisition of his controlling stake in the club with the US investment firm.
The potential deal will now be subject to the Premier League ratifying the sale and deeming that the owners of 777 Partners are fit and proper to take the reins at Goodison Park.
Huge
This is an absolutely huge development and one of the biggest that has emerged from Everton in a number of years as Moshiri has agreed to sell his stake in the club.
The Blues owner had previously been looking for investors to take a share in the club, but the recent developments show that he now wants out completely.
Since it was reported advanced talks were underway with Moshiri on 12 September, a lot has been revealed about 777 Partners and pretty much all of it has been negative, which doesn’t bode well whatsoever [iNews].

The previous criminal charges against co-owner Josh Wander and the financing issues that have been highlighted are major red flags, while the lack of success on-field for the other clubs it owns should also be a worry.
It’s now down to the company to prove it is right for the Toffees and for the Premier League to do its due diligence before allowing the deal to go through.
