Mark Lawrenson predicts 'Big' result for Everton Premier League clash v Arsenal
Mark Lawrenson has made his prediction for the Premier League clash between Everton and Arsenal this weekend at Goodison Park.
The Toffees are yet to win a game this season with just one point from their opening four games, while Arsenal have won three out of four including their late win over Manchester United last time out.
And while speaking to Paddy Power (15 September), the former Match of the Day pundit admitted that he feels that Sean Dyche’s side are likely to be on the end of a one-sided beating on Sunday afternoon.
“The only good thing for Everton is that it looks like they’re going to be bought out but might take a while to go through,” he said.
“But, here, I can’t see anything other than a big Arsenal win. Everton 0-3 Arsenal.”

While the results this season have been anything but good, the performances themselves haven’t been so bad.
We should have beaten Wolves and Fulham with our performances in those games, while the Sheffield United draw could easily have been a win for us too based on how we played.
But the fact is that didn’t happen and we’re in a position now where we can’t really afford to lose more games before picking up some points because otherwise we’ll end up adrift of the pack at the bottom of the table.
We earned a win against Arsenal at Goodison Park last season under Dyche and our record against them at home is good, so we need to continue that pattern and at the very least earn a draw.
It won’t be pretty and doesn’t have to be either, but we simply can’t afford to lose yet again before we claim a win or two.
