Everton finally get positive news with Bramley-Moore Dock announcement – Finance Guru
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Everton
Dan Plumley has insisted that Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium being selected for Euro 2028 is finally a “real positive” for Everton.
Everton confirmed the selection on 10 October, with the new stadium set to fly the flag for the city of Liverpool ahead of Anfield in a big statement.
The finance expert admitted that things like this will benefit Everton financially, and they won’t stop there with other events likely looked at to generate even more revenue.

“It’s what it was designed to do,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“You’ve got a flagship new stadium, obviously that has benefits for Everton as a club, but part of the strategy there is, of course, if there are any major sporting events that take place in the country like this one, then you are in pole position to be part of that as you’re the newest stadium probably on the block.
“It is a real positive that is being looked at, and as you say, that can create additional revenue streams, and it’s not just that, they will look to other events, other types of revenue generation outside of football as well.

“That will always be part of the blueprint for the stadium, as we have seen with Spurs, again setting a new blueprint with their new stadium and what they’ve been able to do with it.”
