Doctor issues injury news on Everton sensation Coby Ebere
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Everton...
Everton youngster Coby Ebere will have to be careful in order to avoid a setback after his rehabilitation from injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The 18-year-old winger, in an interview with the club’s official website, stated that his setback over the summer was a “frustrating” one.
He’s now back in action for the academy side but the injury expert has still urged for caution behind the scenes.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Goodison News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“There’s nothing that can fully ensure he doesn’t suffer a setback as it was a long-ish absence but he has to stay the course with his rehabilitation and stay patient.
“Based on what he’s said, it obviously wasn’t the easiest and the physios will be careful with him.
“However, at that age, these injuries do happen and in most cases, do not hamper the development of a player.“

Ebere has been at Everton since he was an 11-year-old and his dream undoubtedly will be to break into the senior team.
At 17, he made his debut for the under-21s so that shows he’s one of the standout talents in his age group at the club.
It remains to be seen if he keeps developing at this rate, whether or not Sean Dyche calls him up to pre-season training in July.
In other Everton news, a journalist issued a “Huge embarrassment” for Farhad Moshiri claim amid the club’s recent takeover development.
