Everton injury news: Doctor issues update on Dele Alli after Sean Dyche comments
Dele Alli may not be back in action for Everton this season after what Sean Dyche said recently, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that they are intentionally taking things slow with Alli and that there will be a plan behind the scenes that is not available to the public.
Dyche said in the middle of February that the club are intentionally holding him back and that he’s a long way from returning.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Alli:
“It sounds like they’re taking it intentionally slow and methodical to give Dele all the time he needs.
“Hard to say what will need to happen for him to play this season and what might happen if he doesn’t come back because that’s a possibility too.
“Clearly, there’s a plan in place between player and club that we aren’t privy to, other than it being intentionally slow.“
Alli may never don an Everton shirt again
Alli has faced multiple setbacks with his injury rehab and there is a real possibility he never plays for the Toffees again.
He has faced several off-field issues too and the club have every right to not divulge certain details as they’re best left behind closed doors.

Should he be on his way in the summer, it is going to be permanent so the possibility of Blues fans seeing the last of him are incredibly high, as things stand.
In other Everton news, Alan Shearer has been left knocked off his feet as unseen footage emerges of a Toffees star v Brighton.
