Everton: Fresh Dele Alli update all but seals Goodison Park future
Everton attacker Dele Alli looks to be done at Goodison Park with a fresh update emerging about his injury in March.
It now seems unlikely that he will return to action again this season and may leave the club as his deal runs out in the summer.
One major factor that will make up Dyche’s mind is the lack of availability for Alli, playing 0 per cent of the Tofees’ games this season.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Alli:
“It sounds like they’re taking it intentionally slow and methodical to give Dele all the time he needs.
“Hard to say what will need to happen for him to play this season and what might happen if he doesn’t come back because that’s a possibility too.
“Clearly, there’s a plan in place between player and club that we aren’t privy to, other than it being intentionally slow.“
Alli struggled to win over Everton coaches with Besiktas loan spell
He was out on loan last season at Besiktas and that was a chance for him to prove his worth.
The Englishman made 13 appearances for the Turkish club but managed to find the back of the net just once and no assists, per Fbref.
He also averaged less than a shot per game there and his accuracy rate has been 42 per cent only.
Alli had a hard time in the Premier League for Everton and Tottenham
When it comes to the Premier League, his stats were still pretty underwhelming as he averaged a pass accuracy of less than 75 per cent.
He also struggled massively in the chance creation or xG metrics which shows that he was off the pace even before he was signed by the Toffees.

Given his off-field issues, coupled with injuries and dismal on-field performances, the common wisdom may be to let him run out his deal and leave in June.
In other Everton news, there is pressure mounting as the Toffees’ financial future is in doubt amid a fresh takeover twist.
