Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford does not make many errors, according to talkSPORT’s Jason Cundy.

The verdict comes after the Toffees ace gave away a goal for England in their 2-2 draw with Belgium on Tuesday (26 March).

Pickford cheaply lost possession in the 11th minute at Wembley, with Belgium star Youri Tielemans capitalising and opening the scoring.

“2-2, individual errors, one in particular from Pickford,” Cundy said on talkSPORT (26 March). “Doesn’t make many by the way.

“But he’s out of his box, he’s trying to drill a little ball into the middle of the park, gets dispossessed, Tielemans sees the run across the face of the goal and he slides it beautifully in behind the incoming Pickford.”

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford makes rare mistake for England

Everton ace Pickford certainly doesn’t make a lot of errors, with the majority of those inside Wembley definitely shocked at how easily the number one lost the ball.

Trying to keep possession and pick out an England teammate, the goalkeeper instead found his club teammate Amadou Onana, who fed Tielemans before the midfielder slotted the ball into the back of the net.

Brentford striker Ivan Toney spared Pickford’s blushes with a penalty shortly after, but then it was the turn of Three Lions defender Lewis Dunk to make a mistake.

Roma star Romelu Lukaku capitalised on an error from the Brighton man before finding Tielemans with a superb cross, with the latter heading in his second goal of the night.

A draw was, however, dramatically secured by Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham in stoppage time, sending the Three Lions fans home somewhat satisfied.
