777 Partners ditched by advisers over unpaid fees as new Everton takeover twist emerges
777 Partners have been ditched by their advisers over unpaid fees as their Everton takeover bid hits another twist, according to BBC Sport.
The outlet reported on its website on Sunday (5 May) that the Miami-based firm’s UK public relations advisers have now decided to stop representing the company as they claim they have not been paid properly.
777’s advisers suggest that the prospective new owners at Goodison Park did not meet payments in fees and remains to be seen whether or not the company will be willing to re-engage with the company in the future.
This comes only a day after Josh Wander and his firm were accused of a fraudulent scheme by Leadenhall Capital Partners LLP and Leadenhall Life Insurance Linked Investments Fund PLC.
Will 777 Partners complete their takeover of Everton at Goodison Park?
It just seems that every day, more and more bad news emerges around 777 Partners. The firm is still trying to convince the Premier League that they are fit and proper owners, but they have a funny way of showing it.
Week in and week out there have been stories suggesting that their businesses are in some sort of financial trouble, whether that be in sporting situations or not and that simply cannot be good for Sean Dyche’s side.

Regardless of what emerges, however, Farhad Moshiri seems to remain committed to completing a deal with the Miami-based investment firm. For whatever reason, the current owner is convinced they are the right people to work with.
Hopefully, the Toffees boss will finally wake up and begin talking to alternative parties. It is clear they do not have what it takes to run this football club effectively and one of Moshiri or the Premier League simply must step in.
