Everton transfer news as Wolves talks update emerges in Che Adams race

Everton and Nottingham Forest target Che Adams is on his way out of Southampton and talks are progressing with Wolves, according to Football Transfers.

According to Birmingham World on 15 March, along with the Toffees and Forest, Bournemouth have also been linked with a move for the Scotland international.

The 27-year-old’s contract at St Mary’s runs out at the end of the season and he will not be signing an extension.

Che Adams could be a shrewd signing for Everton

Adams could be a shrewd signing for the Toffees due to his proven goalscoring ability in the Premier League, having scored 25 goals and provided 13 assists in 124 appearances.

His physicality and experience would fit well with Everton’s style of play under Sean Dyche.

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury struggles and a potential departure of Beto, Adams could provide much-needed depth and reliability in the forward position.

Beto is not understood to be happy at Goodison Park and wants to leave with AC Milan and Inter Milan keen on signing him.

His arrival would also address Everton’s goal-scoring issues, as they scored the second least number of goals in the Premier League last season.

They will also sign him on a free transfer and even if he’s not an upgrade on the current eleven, he can always get better and make a difference off the bench.

In other Everton news, a claim has emerged on Saudi Arabia potentially completing the takeover ahead of the 777 Partners.
