Jamie Carragher has made his prediction for the final Premier League clash of the season between Arsenal and Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

The hosts must win to have a chance of winning the Premier League title on the final day, while the Toffees are already safe and are just playing to keep their 15th place finish in the table for extra prize money.

But making his predictions for Sky Super 6 (18 May), Carragher admits that he expects the title chasers to have too much for Sean Dyche's side.

"Arsenal will find it tough to break through as Everton are good defensively, but they will enjoy the second half and finish off what has been a great season for Mikel Arteta's men," he wrote, while backing the Gunners to claim a 3-0 win.

Everton should be proud of themselves

It's been a long and difficult season for the Toffees, but Dyche has done a spectacular job to not only get the team safe from relegation but to do it with several games to spare.

In all honesty he should have been considered for manager of the season, but if he isn't going to win it then Arteta also deserves to be in with a shout after the job he did with the Gunners.

Everton have got every chance of turning up and spoiling the party because of the way the team have been playing recently, but ultimately it would be a shock if Arsenal didn't win.

They have such high stakes, will have the home crowd pushing them all the way and Dyche's side are just turning up and trying not to do themselves a disservice.

It will be a difficult afternoon but for once the club don't have to worry too much about it and can just enjoy the day, because ultimately the result means little.
