Advantage Capital Holdings LLC make proposal for brand new Everton investment
Advantage Capital Holdings LLC has made a proposal to invest in Everton in an “unexpected” twist, according to BNN Bloomberg.
The online source reported [6 June] that New York-based A-Cap, who is a major lender to 777 Partners, and a partner firm have submitted a plan to acquire a non-controlling equity stake at Goodison Park.
It is understood that the deal would see all of the Toffees’ debt refinanced, though the source who supplied the story asked not to be identified discussing the information.
Could Farhad Moshiri have found a solution to the problems at Everton?
The most important part of the situation is that Everton’s current debt problem is solved, with 777 Partners’ attempted takeover bid failing spectacularly.
Passionate fans at Goodison Park want to know that their club is safe for another season, with whole-fire sales and administration being mooted ever since 777 registered their interest back in September.
Due to the financial situation, the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana could be shown the exit door this summer, which would be a devastating blow ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
A-Cap certainly seems to be an option that could help the Merseyside club live another day and solve many of the issues currently being worked on.
Of course, Farhad Moshiri has declined to comment on the story, which has been a recurring theme throughout the takeover uncertainty, with the current owner slammed for his failure to communicate.

John Textor is a possible candidate to complete a takeover at Goodison Park, though the current Crystal Palace co-owner has had hit critics, while he may take some time to sell his share at Selhurst Park first.
If A-Cap has found a sensible way to save Everton, it seems like a no-brainer for Moshiri, though he is keen to sell the club if possible. This route would unlikely be favourable for the owner but it would give him more time to find a new buyer.
