Bryan King believes Sean Dyche will remain at Everton next season.

The ex-Goodison scout feels that the Toffees are planning ahead with their current boss in mind.

It comes after a report in The Mirror (1 June) revealed that Dyche has been offered assurances that his top performers won't be sacrificed as part of a fire sale this summer.

And King - speaking exclusively to Goodison News - is surprised that the Blues boss hasn't been offered a new contract.

“It sounds like Everton are planning for life with Dyche next season,” King said.

“How many best players do they have anyway, three or four? I think the team needs strengthening.

“It is all very well saying to Dyche that the best players are going to remain, but why hasn’t he signed a new contract then?

“Surely step one should be offering Dyche a new contract if they’re happy with him.”

Sean Dyche deserves to keep his position at Everton

Dyche deserves to remain in the dugout at Goodison Park.

Few other managers would have been able to keep the Toffees up after two separate point deductions.

He has done an incredible job at Goodison Park, and there is no reason he should leave.

Everton
Sean Dyche worked wonders at Everton last season.

However, considering the club's financial struggles, they could find it difficult to offer him a new contract.
