Everton have learnt how much they need to shell out for Newcastle attacker Yankuba Minteh with Dominic Calvert-Lewin going the other way, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper reported via its online edition on 22 June that the Magpies are looking at £30million for the 19-year-old Gambia international.

The Toffees are stepping up their interest in Minteh and look to sign him after an impressive season on loan at Feyenoord.

Yankuba Minteh could be a valuable addition at Everton

Signing Minteh would make a lot of sense for the club, addressing their need for a dynamic and versatile attacker.

The teenager's impressive loan spell at Feyenoord, where he scored 11 goals and provided five assists in all competitions, showcases his ability to perform consistently at a high level.

His pace, dribbling and crossing ability would add a new dimension to Everton's attacking play, providing more creativity and goal-scoring opportunities.

At just 19 years old, Minteh has significant potential for growth and development, making him a long-term investment for the club.

Additionally, his signing could help Everton secure a favourable deal for Calvert-Lewin, as Newcastle are interested in the striker.

This seems to be a deal that will benefit both clubs and perhaps both players as well and the fans will surely understand that.
