Dan Friedkin takeover claim emerges as Iliman Ndiaye completes Everton medical

Bryan King believes Dan Fridekin's proposed takeover of Everton is already proving its worth.

The ex-Goodison scout has praised the Toffees for their "sensible" decisions in the transfer market.

It comes after Fabrizio Romano reported (26 June) that Iliman Ndiaye had completed his medical ahead of a move to Goodison Park.

And King - speaking exclusively to Goodison News - is delighted by the Toffees' business thus far this summer.

"If the takeover talks are progressing in the way that is being reported, that is clearly already proving beneficial for Everton," King said.

"They're going to get some money coming into the club. However, they still aren't spending in the way that they have been doing in recent years.

"The deals that they're doing seem to be pretty sensible in this present climate, and this is another example of that."

Supporters at Goodison Park will be delighted with Everton's recent business.

Whether or not any of this has been impacted by the Freidkin Group's prospective takeover is unclear.

However, fans can have little complaint thus far about how the summer transfer window has progressed.

The Toffees have so far kept hold of their big-name stars, despite widespread suggestions that they might need to make sales before 30 June.

In addition, they have added Tim Iroegbunam and Jack Harrison to Sean Dyche's ranks, and appear set to announce the arrival of Ndiaye.

How the summer progresses remains to be seen, but for now, it is so far so good for Everton.
