Bryan King has urged Jaden Philogene to make a move to Everton amid a transfer update.

The ex-Goodison scout believes the Hull City forward would be wise to favour a move to Goodison Park.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano via Playback (6 July), Everton, Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace have all agreed terms with Hull for the transfer of Philogene.

The 22-year-old is expected to decide on where his future lies soon (Romano, 5 July).

And King - speaking exclusively to Goodison News - has weighed in on the decision.

"I think Everton would be a favourable destination without a doubt," King said.

"Although with the way Crystal Palace played last season, they must be of interest. I think he is very lucky to have three decent clubs to pick between.

"Palace have some England internationals, that will be something for Philogene to consider. Playing for the Eagles clearly doesn't hurt your chances of featuring for the Three Lions.

"However, if I were him I would pick Everton, and that is what I would advise him to do."

Will Hull City forward Jaden Philogene choose Everton and move to Goodison Park?

This is an incredibly tough choice for Philogene.

With Ipswich Town having just been promoted to the Premier League, the player might feel as though this is where he will receive the most first-team minutes.

However, Palace are an attractive proposition where plenty of young forwards have been known to thrive.

And when it comes to Everton, the Toffees are arguably the biggest of the three clubs, which could sway Philogene in the direction of Goodison Park.

It isn't an easy decision, and supporters will now wait anxiously to see where he ends up.
