Berto Camacho, the agent of Hull City star Jaden Philogene, has been spotted at Finch Farm as Everton transfer links intensify.

Philogene's representative posted on Instagram that he'd attended Finch Farm on July 8, suggesting that he was there to discuss a possible transfer to Goodison Park this summer.

Camacho's movements during the transfer window so far have shown that his client is a player in demand, and last week he was spotted at Barcelona's training ground [X, 4 July].

Everton are already said to have agreed on a deal to sign the winger, who has indicated he'd be keen on joining them over other clubs [Daily Mail, 7 July].

Jaden Philogene transfer would be significant coup for Everton

Given his agent has already met with a side who are Champions League regulars and won La Liga just two seasons ago, Philogene leaning towards Goodison Park instead is good news for the Toffees.

Sean Dyche's current wide stocks are somewhat threadbare, with only Dwight McNeil and Leeds United loanee Jack Harrison waiting in the wings, thus adding further reinforcements in this area is needed.

Iliman Ndiaye is another option in the final third after his arrival from Marseille, but it is clear that Kevin Thelwell is looking to bolster those stocks.

Everton have always been defensively solid and hard to break down, the issue usually comes at the other end of the pitch, so developments like this are great to see.

With a deal agreed with Hull, Camacho could be in town to lay out the personal demands of his client, something that could bring everything closer to completion.

This is certainly one to watch now.
