Jesper Lindstrom is set to sign his Everton contract after completing a medical ahead of his move from Napoli, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist shared the news via X on 25 July with the Danish winger's move to Goodison Park now looking imminent.

Tuttomercato reported (24 July) that the move is set to be an initial loan with an option to buy and he would become Sean Dyche's third senior addition of the summer transfer window.

Jesper Lindstrom should be the first of two attacking Everton transfers

Everton have been very active in the market this summer and are keen to make additions across the board to strengthen Dyche's squad.

However, it's their attack that has seen the most change thus far. Iliman Ndiaye has been welcomed to the club after a below-par season in Ligue 1 with Marseille.

The Senegal international will be hoping to replicate the form he showed back in his Sheffield United days when he was one of the club's key players.

Although Ndiaye is a forward option, he's more of a shadow striker or attacking midfielder.

The addition of Lindstrom will help alleviate some pressure off of the shoulders of Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison when the season comes into full swing.

However, the Toffees would be silly to stop at Lindstrom in terms of bringing in attacking talent.

Leeds United ace Willy Gnonto is another attacker that the club has had their interest rekindled in [i News, 24 July] over the last few weeks and his addition would add even more firepower to their ranks.

The Italian international would be another stellar addition to the squad and would be affordable thanks to the recent sale of Amadou Onana.
