Iliman Ndiaye lauded over as 'incredible' moment emerges in Everton v Newcastle United
Stephen Warnock was full of praise for Iliman Ndiaye after he cleared an effort off the line as Everton drew 0-0 with Newcastle United on Saturday.
Bruno Guimaraes found himself alone at the back post following a corner, firing under Jordan Pickford and towards the Toffees' goal, only for the Senegalese to block the ball on the line.
Ndiaye knew little about the moment as the whole of Goodison Park held their breath, and Warnock was just as surprised as Sean Dyche's side escaped going behind after just 10 minutes at Goodison Park.
Speaking live via BBC Radio 5 Live on Saturday (5 October, 5:41pm), Warnock said: "Ndiaye is on the line and doesn't know too much about it. It's an incredible clearance. How has that not gone in?"

While Ndiaye has been a brilliant addition to the Toffee's frontline, he appears to have left a lasting mark in his own defensive area as he denied the Magpies an early opener.
The 24-year-old has notched just one goal in his opening six Premier League appearances, netting in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City, but he has gifted a new dynamic to Dyche's attack.
He is almost just as undroppable as the likes of Dwight McNeil and Dominic Calvert-Lewin right now, and now he just needs to add more goal contributions to his game.
The Toffees certainly lived life on the edge during the first 45 minutes against Eddie Howe's men, and the clearance was just one of many close encounters as Anthony Gordon missed a spot-kick.
It would have been the perfect chance for the Senegalese international to bag his third-ever goal in Everton colours, though chances were few and far between.
