Alan Myers has revealed that Everton star Iliman Ndiaye featured as a substitute for Senegal without suffering any injury concerns.

The 24-year-old joined up with his country after a positive spell in recent weeks at Goodison Park and featured in two clashes against Malawi.

In the second, Myers revealed via X on 15 October that the attacking midfielder featured for 31 minutes as a substitute.

The Goodison faithful will be pleased to learn that Ndiaye appears to have finished the international break without any injury worries.

Everton star Iliman Ndiaye features for Senegal

The former Sheffield United ace has become an instant fan favourite on Merseyside with his ability to drive forward on the ball catching the eye.

This has seen him become a key member of the squad under Sean Dyche this season but will be frustrated with a general lack of goal output.

The Toffees will have had their fingers crossed throughout the international break that none of their stars pick up an injury.

Despite only scoring one goal this campaign, Ndiaye will have been up there in terms of importance and now it appears that he has got through two games for his nation without picking up an injury.

This should allow the ex-Marseille man to return to Finch Farm to prepare for the away clash against Ipswich Town on Saturday 19 October.

The Senegal international will hope that he can return to Premier League action and get amongst the goals under Dyche more as the season goes on.
