Kevin Thelwell makes clear Everton transfer decision after Dominic Calvert-Lewin struggle
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has struggled to be a reliable outlet for Everton this season, and Kevin Thelwell needs to address those goalscoring issues.
The Toffees are sixteenth in the Premier League table, scoring just 10 goals in 11 games this season.
West Ham hosted the Blues on 9 November, and despite 18 shots against the Hammers, Sean Dyche’s team never looked like finding the net in a 0-0 draw.
Apart from Calvert-Lewin, Everton have Beto at their disposal, who has failed to make a case for himself since his move from Udinese with odd cameo goals.
The Goodison Park faithful realise their team needs a prolific striker to get out of the rut they are in and bring stability back to the club.
Kevin Thelwell looking to bring Kaua Elias to Everton
One centre-forward Everton have their eyes on is Kaua Elias, and the Fluminense youngster is also attracting interest from Lille and Benfica, according to Homme du Match [9 November].
The Brazilian is an exciting talent who boasts immense potential, and with a price tag of around £6million, the Toffees shouldn’t have any financial issues in a possible transfer pursuit.

Thelwell seems to be working with a long-term strategy in mind, and while that is admirable, the Blues need a quality number nine as soon as the January transfer window opens to better their prospects in the Premier League.
Calvert-Lewin could be on his way out of the club next summer with his contract expiring at the end of the season, and with Beto nowhere near good enough to be the starting striker, the club needs to figure out who they are going to bring in, with Elias not an immediate answer.
