Richard Keys admitted he was not surprised to see Everton fans boo at full-time of the goalless draw with Brentford on Saturday.

The Toffees welcomed the Bees home on 23 November, but neither were able to break the deadlock as Sean Dyche's team had a one-man advantage for the second half after Christian Norgaard was sent off.

At the end of the match, the Blues faithful made their feelings known. Speaking on beIN Sports 1 [23 November], Keys wasn't surprised by the fan discontentment as boos echoed in the background.

"Well I expected that at Goodison. Ripples of derision and boos from the terraces."

Everton fans losing patience with Sean Dyche

Everton have once again failed to find the back of the net after their dismal 0-0 draw against West Ham United on 9 November in the league at London Stadium.

Brentford have been in fine form this season, and the Goodison faithful didn't expect their team to blow the visitors out of the water, but with the red card in the 41st minute, the Toffees should've arguably done more.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin started once again up top for the Blues and cut a frustrating figure, with the Englishman having scored just twice in the current campaign.

Dyche did bring Beto on to provide more of an attacking threat towards the final 15 minutes of the fixture, but that decision didn't do much as the 26-year-old showcased the struggles he's had during his time on Merseyside.

Everton are hovering towards the bottom of the table, and the Toffees need to pick up as many points as they can when provided an opportunity.

The Blues should've made more of the fact that Thomas Frank's team had a man sent off, and the draw has unsurprisingly increased the ire of the fans who don't feel Dyche is the right manager to take their team forward.
