Everton fans scream at Sean Dyche as sack pressure builds in Brentford stalemate
Everton fans were screaming at Sean Dyche to make changes in the game against Brentford, Patrick Boyland has shared.
Goodison Park welcomed the Bees on 23 November in the Premier League, with the game ending in a 0-0 draw as neither team managed to find the back of the net.
The Athletic correspondent was at the stadium watching the Toffees and shared on X [23 November] what the Blues fans instructed the manager to do during the game.
“Goodison getting tetchy. Fans by us screaming at Dyche to make changes,” Boyland wrote.
Sean Dyche on precipice of Everton sack
Everton fans have made their feelings clear about Dyche for some time now, with the Goodison faithful frustrated with the football they’ve been seeing under the former Burnley head coach.
The 53-year-old could’ve been relieved of his duties after losing the first four games in the Premier League this season, and fans wouldn’t have batted an eye.
With The Friedkin Group making their way to Merseyside, Alan Nixon has reported on his Patreon [17 November] that the new owners will review Dyche’s position at the Blues when they complete their takeover.
For the Toffees faithful, that day can’t come sooner, with frustrations already pouring out at Goodison, with boos ringing towards the end of the draw against Brentford.
Dyche seems unable to find a solution to the issues up front at Everton, with the Blues putting in a dull performance against West Ham as well on 9 November, with the game ending without a goal.
While attacking players like Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto are also to blame, in the end, the responsibility lies on the English head coach and his inability to turn the tide will prove detrimental.
It’s no wonder fans were so frustrated, with this very much a case of two points dropped against 10-man Brentford.
In other Everton news, Dyche’s sacking is surely determined after the draw against Brentford.
